If something goes wrong
Your board lives on your device, so you are never locked out of your own work. Open the app's menu, choose "Data & backup," and export a JSON file. That file is a complete copy of your board and you can import it back at any time. If you are about to do anything drastic, export first.
Accessibility
Mellowtask is a microenterprise and is exempt from the European Accessibility Act's service requirements. We publish this statement anyway, because accessibility is good product, and because we intend to meet the standard before we are ever obligated to.
The target
We work toward WCAG 2.1 AA for the app's core flows.
In place today
- Light, dark, and paper themes.
- A manual option to reduce motion and hide the animated cat, plus respect for your operating system's reduced-motion setting.
- A keyboard and menu path to reorder stacks and tabs, so reordering never requires dragging.
- Contrast-checked text on colored blocks.
Known limitations
- Some drag interactions on desktop are pointer-first. Menu alternatives are provided for each.
